Former NIRSAL MD, Aliyu Abdulhameed, and co-defendant Babangida Abdullahi were arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of forgery and conspiracy. The charge filed by the Nigeria Police Force alleges they forged public documents in October 2023, contravening Section 3(6) and punishable under Section 1(2)(c) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act. Both pleaded not guilty and were granted administrative bail.
