Federal judge strikes down California's 'one-gun-a-month' law as unconstitutional under 2nd Amendment.
California's 'one-gun-a-month' law, which limited people from buying more than one gun a month, has been struck down by a federal judge. The ruling stated that the law does not meet requirements outlined in the U.S. Supreme Court's 2022 decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen. The judge determined that the plaintiffs were entitled to summary judgment as to the constitutionality of the law under the Second Amendment.
