Dublin Airport's operator DAA challenges Fingal County Council's night flight restriction notice in High Court, citing unclear restrictions and denial of fair procedures.
Dublin Airport's operator DAA has claimed that an enforcement notice restricting night-time flights issued by Fingal County Council contains "manifest failures" and should be quashed, according to the High Court. The notice, which limits flights between 11pm and 7am, is said to be unclear, with differing interpretations of the 65 flights a night restriction. DAA argues that the council's handling of its enforcement decision denied it fair procedures.
