Driver dies after car goes into Clackamas River in Oregon City; investigation ongoing. Clackamas firefighters and Oregon City police recovered the car, which veered off into the river for an unknown reason, from the river on Tuesday afternoon. The driver, believed to be the only occupant, was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
