CLIA commissions RINA to develop a Global Investment Plan Study for a sustainable cruise industry by 2050, in line with IMO environmental goals.

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has commissioned Italian marine engineering consultancy RINA to produce a comprehensive study aimed at steering the cruise sector towards a sustainable future. The Global Investment Plan Study will map real-time energy needs, infrastructure and regulatory requirements, with foresight scenarios extending to 2050. The research aims to align with International Maritime Organisation (IMO) 2030 and 2050 environmental goals.
