The Chicago Bears have agreed to a two-year, $12 million contract with former Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett, guaranteeing $6.1 million. Everett, who previously worked with new Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron in Seattle, will provide a productive No. 2 tight end behind Cole Kmet. Everett has 284 receptions, 2,833 yards, and 19 touchdowns over his seven-season career with the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Chargers.
