Gardaí discovered two cannabis grow houses in Co Galway, seizing drugs worth over €300,000. Three individuals were arrested during planned searches at two residential properties in the New Inn and Creggs areas, as part of Operation Tara, a national anti-drugs strategy. The suspects, aged between 20 and 50, are being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
