An Alabama judge has reduced the bond for a man, Daron Dquan Boykins, accused of causing a car crash that injured US Senator Joe Manchin's wife, Gayle Manchin, from nearly $2 million to $135,000. The crash occurred during a police chase initiated in Homewood and ended in Birmingham. Bond was cut with arguments that the previous amount was excessive and based on Manchin's connection to a US Senator.
