27-year-old Nilen Chauhan, a drink driver, caused a car to flip onto its roof and skid along a fast lane on the A14 in Cambridgeshire. Chauhan was driving a Volkswagen Polo at over 100mph and collided with a Mitsubishi L200, causing it to flip. The driver of the Mitsubishi survived, but Chauhan was sentenced to a 16-month prison term, suspended for two years, a three-year driving ban, and 150 hours of unpaid work.
