The US Commerce Secretary has promised to address concerns raised by the Philippines after US authorities held up garment shipments suspected of containing cotton produced by forced labor in China's Xinjiang region. Philippine Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual raised the issue during a meeting with US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Raimondo has committed to assist the Philippines on this issue.
