Union Health Minister launches credit assistance program for Jan Aushadhi Kendras, aiming to increase their number to 25,000 in two years.
Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya launched a credit assistance program for Jan Aushadhi Kendras, with an aim to deliver affordable and quality medicines to all Indian citizens. There are currently around 11,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras operating across India, serving an estimated 10-12 million people daily. The government aims to increase the number of such centers to 25,000 in the next two years.
