Tata Power Solar Systems has completed a 100MW solar PV project coupled with 120MWh utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The Rs 945 crore project was awarded by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and is expected to produce 243.53 million units of energy annually, reducing carbon emissions by 4.87 million tonnes in 25 years. The project, worth $1.32bn, is the largest solar and BESS project in India, showcasing Tata Power Solar's technical expertise and project execution skills.
