Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has stated that his government will not implement the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) in the state, considering it "divisive and bereft of any use". Stalin has criticised the BJP regime for notifying the rules for implementing the CAA "in a haste" and for going against the basic structure of the Indian Constitution.
