21st ranked UNLV women's basketball team defeated Fresno State 83-35 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament, led by Amarachi Kimpson and Alyssa Brown's 16 points each. Coach Lindy La Rocque achieved her 100th victory with the win. Top-seeded UNLV advanced to the semifinals against the winner of Nevada-Colorado State, aiming for their third consecutive conference tournament win.
