South Africa's Department of Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities has launched a "365 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign" and urged men in the country to participate. Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma urges men to denounce ongoing trends of rape and violence against women and children, addressing the root causes of male violence. The department has trained members on gender-based violence, raised awareness, and collaborated with the taxi sector to implement the National Strategic Plan on GBV.
