2024 Q2: CPF offers 4.05% interest rate, first decrease for Special, MediSave accounts after 3 increases.
In Q2 2024, the Central Provident Fund (CPF) will offer a 4.05% annual interest rate for its Special, MediSave, and Retirement Accounts, a slight dip from the previous quarter's 4.08% rate. This is the first decrease for the Special and MediSave accounts after three consecutive increases. The interest rate is pegged to the 12-month average yield of 10-year Singapore Government Securities plus 1%.
