New Zealand's TAIC seizes black boxes after LATAM Airlines Boeing 787 incident injures 50, leaving trajectory change unexplained.

New Zealand's Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) has seized the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder, also known as "black boxes," of a LATAM Airlines Boeing 787 after an incident left over 50 people injured on a Sydney-Auckland flight. The cause of the sudden change in trajectory remains unexplained. TAIC is working with Chile's accident investigation authority, Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC), and will gather evidence relevant to the enquiry, including seizing the "black boxes" to provide information on the flight's trajectory and communications between pilots.
