Over the last nine months, a government-business partnership in South Africa has led to significant progress in addressing electricity supply issues, freight rail and port operations, and crime and corruption. President Cyril Ramaphosa revealed that the private sector has provided over R170 million in direct support and mobilized 350 technical experts. Since November 2023, load shedding has decreased by 61% compared to the same period a year ago. The partnership was established to help tackle obstacles to faster growth and job creation.
