2023: Lego's yearly profits decreased 5% in a tough toy market, yet anticipates single-digit sales growth in the coming year.

Danish toy giant Lego saw a 5% decrease in its yearly profits in 2023, amid the "toughest toy market for over 15 years." Despite the drop in profits, the company anticipates single-digit sales growth in the coming year, which it believes will outperform the wider toy market. Lego's revenue slightly increased by 2% to 65.9 billion DKK (£7.6bn) over the year, while net profits also fell by 5% to 13.1 DKK (£1.5bn).
