5 killed, school bus and semi-truck crash in western Illinois; cause under investigation.
Five people, including three children, were killed in a crash between a school bus and a semi-truck on a highway in western Illinois. The bus crossed the center line into the westbound lanes, colliding with the semi-truck, resulting in both vehicles catching fire. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the victims' names have not yet been released. In response to the tragedy, Schuyler-Industry Schools cancelled classes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
