Isle of Wight Council postpones decision on The Salty Siren concession application due to insufficient councillors.
Isle of Wight seafront concession application delayed: The Isle of Wight Council's licensing sub-committee was unable to determine if The Salty Siren, a street trader, could operate along Princes Esplanade in Gurnard, selling ice cream, drinks, slushies, buckets and spades, as well as other items. The application faced nearly 20 objections and the meeting was closed as there were not enough councillors present to make a decision.
