Indian PM Narendra Modi and UK PM Rishi Sunak discussed the progress of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries during a recent conversation. Both leaders expressed their commitment to strengthen the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and work towards an early conclusion of a mutually beneficial FTA. The India-UK FTA negotiations began in 2022, and both countries have expressed hope for a successful conclusion soon.
