Greece Central School District has installed external cameras on its buses, joining the Bus Patrol program, which automatically captures drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses. The program, launched in Monroe County, aims to improve bus safety and educate drivers about the importance of stopping for school buses. In a four-month period, there were 2,000 instances of drivers passing or attempting to pass a school bus stop arm, resulting in 1,200 citations and 800 warnings.
