Epic Games unveils new pricing for its Unreal Engine 5.4, with non-game developers, such as film, TV, and theme parks, charged an annual $1,850 per seat subscription fee from late April. Game developers remain royalty-free until $1m in lifetime gross revenue, while students, educators, and hobbyists are exempt. The fee includes access to Twinmotion and RealityCapture tools, set to be fully integrated by 2025.
