22 electric "Green Metro Express" buses launched in Hyderabad by Telangana ministers, marking a first for the city.

Telangana ministers flagged off 22 non-AC electric "Green Metro Express" buses of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) in Hyderabad, marking the first time electric buses have been launched in the city. Each 12-meter bus has a seating capacity of 35 and can travel up to 225 km on a single charge, with a 3-4 hour recharge time. The TSRTC plans to introduce more electric buses in the future.
