85 dogs rescued from a puppy mill in North Carolina are being cared for at an animal rescue center in Middle Tennessee. The Animal Rescue Corps, with support from the Nashville Humane Society, rescued the dogs, mostly miniature schnauzers and schnauzer mixes, from alleged "deplorable conditions" at a Chatham County facility. The dogs were suffering from malnutrition, parasites, and life-threatening medical conditions.
