Bomb squad members swept the Charles River in Needham, Massachusetts after two deteriorated explosives were pulled from the water. The Massachusetts State Police marine unit, bomb squad, dive team, and environmental police conducted a joint operation on Monday, but found no additional ordnances. The discoveries were made by magnet fishers, and the origin of the explosives in the river is currently under investigation.
