Campbell Soup has completed its $2.33bn acquisition of Sovos Brands, the owner of Rao's Homemade, after receiving clearance from the Federal Trade Commission. The deal, initially announced in August, faced delays but was ultimately closed on schedule. Campbell has established a new business unit called "Distinctive Brands" to include Sovos Brands, which consists of pasta sauces, dry pasta, soups, frozen pizza, and yogurts.
