British Columbia's Solicitor General and the RCMP have denied allegations of widespread diversion of safe-supply drugs in the province. Critics, including Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Federal Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre, claimed that a recent drug seizure in Prince George provided evidence of this. However, the officials maintain that there is currently no evidence to support a widespread diversion of safer-supply drugs in the illicit market in B.C. or Canada.
