The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward prospect Landon Slaggert to a two-year, entry-level contract, worth $912.5K cap hit. The 21-year-old was a third-round pick in 2020 and had a successful collegiate career at Notre Dame, scoring 20 goals and 31 points in 36 games. Slaggert will be eligible to make his NHL debut for the Blackhawks and is expected to join the team for the remainder of the regular season.
