64-year-old Gilbert Bunch Jr. from White Castle, LA, was found dead in Bayou Lafourche on March 8, six days after his car crashed into the waterway on March 2. Bunch failed to stop at a stop sign, causing the car to travel off the road and partially submerge in the bayou. The passenger managed to escape and swim to shore. Authorities from multiple agencies, including the Assumption and Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Offices, have been searching the bayou since the crash.
