91-year-old Coronation Street star Bill Roache, who plays Ken Barlow, has been given three months to pay off his tax debt of over £500,000 to HMRC. The actor, who earns around £250,000 a year, plans to sell his house to clear the remaining balance. Roache faced a large bill after investing in a £500m tax avoidance scheme in 2018. His case was heard at London's insolvency court and will be revisited on June 10.
