3-time MLA and close associate of Uddhav Thackeray, Ravindra Waikar, has joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Waikar, who has been under the scanner of central investigative agencies, particularly the Enforcement Directorate (ED), joins the Eknath Shinde faction in presence at 'Varsha', the official CM residence. This move is seen as a significant blow to Thackeray, suggesting a possible shift in loyalty to the rival Shiv Sena faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
