Shell awards Worley contract for detailed design, procurement, and construction management for Europe's largest commercial renewable hydrogen facility in Rotterdam.
Shell has awarded Worley a contract for detailed design, procurement and construction management support services for Holland Hydrogen 1, Europe's largest commercial renewable hydrogen production facility located in the Port of Rotterdam. Once operational, the facility is expected to produce 60,000 kg of renewable hydrogen daily, replacing grey hydrogen in Shell's Energy and Chemicals Park, Rotterdam. This project will contribute to the partial decarbonization of fuels at the facility and supply renewable hydrogen for heavy transportation.
