Norway's core inflation rate fell to 4.9% in February, its lowest level in 1.5 years, below the 5.3% median forecast by analysts, and Norges Bank's projection of 5.5%. This decline could lead to earlier interest rate cuts by the central bank. In addition, consumer price inflation eased for the second consecutive month to 4.5% YoY in February, while producer prices continued to decline sharply.
