New Zealand's rural confidence has risen slightly from last year's record lows, according to the latest Federated Farmers Farm Confidence Survey. However, President Wayne Langford noted that the improvement is minimal and farmers are still facing challenges such as high interest rates, poor commodity prices and excessive red tape. The survey shows that while confidence is no longer declining, it remains at a low level.
