7 naloxone vending machines, providing free Narcan and additional items, are being installed across Linn County to combat the opioid crisis. These vending machines aim to reduce stigma and empower individuals to make life-saving decisions. The first machine will be located at the Linn County Community Service Building, with other machines to follow, paid for by Linn County's Opioid Health Department.
