Morocco's National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA) has investigated and cleared Moroccan strawberries of potential contamination with Hepatitis A virus, addressing concerns raised by the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) in Europe. Strawberry samples and irrigation water were tested for the virus and Norovirus, confirming their absence. The ministry emphasizes that these strawberries were for export and not domestic consumption.
