West Coast Expressway (WCE) Section 11 from Taiping to Beruas opens on March 12, offering free toll until May 11. The 35.5 km-long route connects Changkat Jering to Beruas, reducing travel time from 55 minutes to 20 minutes and offering potential fuel savings. Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi announced the toll-free period in light of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, and the toll rate will be 16 sen per kilometre after the two-month period.
