A $5.445M federal grant will expand the Newcastle-based Veterans' and Families' Hub to Maitland, serving the Hunter Region with tailored support for 22,000 veterans and families. This expansion is part of the government's $46.7M commitment to establish 10 new hubs across Australia. The hub will form part of a "hub and spoke" network extending outreach programs to Port Stephens, Singleton, and Muswellbrook.
