£250m Charing Cross Gateway project by CXG Glasgow Limited advances, focusing on student accommodation, healthcare, mixed-tenure development, and removal of Tay House bridge.

A £250m regeneration plan for Glasgow's Charing Cross area has advanced with a new planning application submitted by CXG Glasgow Limited. The Charing Cross Gateway project, if approved, will transform the city's west side into a sustainable new community. Phase one focuses on student accommodation and a healthcare facility, while phase two envisions a mixed-tenure development with residential living, office space, and a hotel. The removal of the Tay House bridge would create a new gateway into the city centre.
