Irish agribusiness ClonBio plans to invest $500m in a US biorefinery in Wisconsin, creating 1,000 local jobs. ClonBio's biorefineries use natural processes to refine grain for various applications, including ethanol and organic fertiliser. The group has already invested $100m in the facility and expects to accelerate the investment following the introduction of incentives in the US Inflation Reduction Act.
