Investors are pressuring Zara owner Inditex to reveal its full list of suppliers to improve transparency and address potential supply chain risks, following in the footsteps of rivals such as H&M and Primark. Clothing retailers are under pressure to prove there is no forced labor in their supply chains and that garment workers are paid fair wages. Inditex currently publishes the number of suppliers it sources from in 12 core countries but does not disclose individual factory details.
