I-4 eastbound lanes in Orange County closed due to crash, reopened at 8 am; investigation ongoing.
I-4 in Orange County experienced a crash closure of all eastbound lanes on Monday, with the accident occurring just after 4 a.m. at SR-535. All drivers were forced to exit I-4 at SR-535, and as a detour, eastbound drivers were able to use I-Drive or SR-417 to Florida's Turnpike. The lanes were reopened around 8 a.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
