50 Hunter groups form alliance, demanding state MPs increase funding for the region. The Hunter Community Alliance and Hunter Jobs Alliance call on Labor MPs to provide greater support for the region in the upcoming June state budget. The alliance's letter requests $10 million annually to establish a regional energy transition authority and $41 million to refurbish Tighes Hill TAFE campus as a new industries training centre.
