Human rights lawyer Femi Falana calls for compensation from Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) for families of victims of a stampede in Lagos State last month, where seven people died during the sale of seized rice. Falana criticises NCS for not compensating families or commiserating with them. The stampede occurred during the distribution of food items seized from smugglers to alleviate economic hardship, which led to the temporary suspension of the initiative.
