Head-on collision on SR 599 in Tukwila closed road; one driver critical, southbound vehicle crossed lanes.
A head-on collision on northbound SR 599 in Tukwila closed the road early Monday morning. Both drivers involved, who were sent to the hospital, had one driver in critical condition. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident, in which a driver traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into another vehicle. The northbound lanes reopened at around 7 a.m.
