Hamilton's city website has been taken offline due to "precautionary system changes" made in response to an ongoing ransomware attack. The cybersecurity incident has affected much of the city's IT infrastructure and officials have not provided a timeline for when the website will be back online. While some related websites are also offline, city staff can still be contacted by phone.
