A fire incident occurred at the Dan'agundi Transmission Station in Kano, causing damage to two high-capacity transformers. The fire was reported at around 4:10 pm on Sunday and the cause is yet to be determined. The Kano State Fire Service responded promptly and no casualties or injuries were reported. Despite the incident, electricity transmission is expected to continue as at least one transformer remains operational.
