Fingal County Council requests test results of PFAS chemicals at Dublin Airport due to historical firefighting foam usage.

Fingal County Council has demanded the results of all tests done on PFAS chemicals by Dublin Airport operator. PFAS chemicals, linked to cancer, have been found in "very low levels" at the airport, with concerns about historical contamination from firefighting foams used prior to 2013. The council is seeking more information on PFAS presence at Dublin Airport, including test results from the DAA.
